On June 13, 2025, the LASER Education Foundation will host its first-ever charity football tournament at the stadium.
The event will bring together businesses and football lovers for an afternoon of competitive and friendly matches to raise crucial funds to support disadvantaged young people across the region.
With Bromley FC sponsoring the event, 16 teams of five-a-side will be competing for the LASER Education Foundation trophy and enjoying a barbecue afterwards.
Whether you are a business wanting to showcase your commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) while networking with fellow professionals, or a team of friends wanting to enjoy a game of football, this event is open to all.
Spaces are limited though, so individuals and teams are being encouraged to sign up as soon as possible.
The newly established LASER Education Foundation is a charity created by London & South East Education Group to support disadvantaged children and their families across the region.
The foundation’s mission is to ensure that every young person has access to the education and opportunities they need to thrive and succeed, regardless of background.
This will be achieved through innovative educational programmes, mentoring schemes, and targeted support for those most in need.
Proceeds from this football tournament and other upcoming events will, for example, go towards funding sports engagement programmes for young people and bursaries for students from low-income households.
CEO of Bromley Football Club, Mark Hammond, said: “We are thrilled to be supporting this event, which brings together businesses and the community to make a real difference.
“Football has the power to inspire and unite, and we’re proud to contribute to the LASER Education Foundation’s efforts in providing life-changing opportunities for young people.”
Deputy CEO of LASER Education Foundation, Louise Wolsey, added: “For our first-ever charity football event, we are excited to partner with Bromley FC and bring the local community together for a great cause.
“Sport is a fantastic way to engage people of all ages, and through this event, we can fund life-changing initiatives that enhance education and access to opportunities.”
