Police and ambulance crews were called to the St Peter’s area of Broadstairs shortly before 7pm on Thursday (March 20).

A woman in her 20s was treated at the scene for stab wounds and then taken to a hospital in London.

She remains there in a “serious but stable condition”.

A woman, who is known to the victim, was arrested and charged with attempted murder two days later on March 22.

Carla Lovejoy, 45 of Guy Close in Broadstairs, was put into custody and will appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today (March 24).
