Police were called to Tanfield Avenue, Neasden, at 9pm on Monday (July 7) after reports of gunshots. Officers and paramedics found a 30-year-old man with gunshot wounds. He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. His injuries were later confirmed as not life-threatening or life-changing. Emergency services were called to Harrow Road, near the junction of Chippenham Road, yesterday (July 10) at 7.07pm. The London Ambulance Service said this is due to an injured person. The London Ambulance Service was called just after 3am this morning (July 11) to Stamford Hill. Ambulance crews and a doctor and paramedic from London’s Air Ambulance arrived within five minutes. However, despite the best attempts to save him a man died at the scene. Metropolitan Police has been contacted for further information. The schools – a mixture of primary, secondary and special schools – were invited to meet the Mayor of Havering, Councillor Sue Ospreay, at a special reception. They were presented with a certificate and medal to mark their achievements. One of these schools was Harold Wood Primary School in Recreation Avenue which was inspected last November and deemed to be ‘good’. Blue Stevens from Yateley, Hampshire was found injured in Seville Street just after 9.40pm on July 9.  Officers attended, however, he was pronounced dead shortly after.  His next-of-kin are aware and will continue to receive support from specialist officers. No arrests have yet been made.  Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command, supported by local officers, are pursuing several lines of enquiries.  More officers, both uniformed and plain-clothed, are expected to be on patrol in the area. The improvement works along King George Hospital Road in Goodmayes are set to take place from 8am on July 12 until 4pm.  According to Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals (BHRUT) NHS Trust, the work will resume again at 8am on July 13, planned to complete again at 4pm.
