Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called just before 10am today (January 3) with reports of a man found dead in Engineers Way.  The crime scene blocked off an entrance to the building (Image: Newsquest London) They were dispatched to the scene with colleagues from the London Ambulance Service, where the man was located.  Paramedics administered first aid, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene a short while later.  A passerby who was in the area at around 11am told this paper that she had seen “lots of police and ambulances” in the area.  A passerby described seeing…

Not to mention all main-line passenger trains running out of St Pancras being cancelled over the festive holiday. Engineers have now completed a £19 million scheme to replace the 160-year-old Agar Grove Bridge over the railway a-mile-and-a-half north of St Pancras station. High Road, Willesden was taped up by police from the morning of yesterday (December 28) and most of today (December 29) as forensics investigated the knife attack. Police were called to reports of a stabbing in Linacre Road, just off the High Road, at 4.16am. Recycling and waste collections for residential properties in Croydon will occur later than usual over Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025. Collections scheduled on Wednesday, December 25, and Thursday, December 26, will take place two days later. This means waste scheduled to be picked up on December 25 will be collected on Friday, December 27 instead, for example.
