Harlow Council has awarded a new contract to the organisation as part of its mission to protect communities.
Following a thorough tender process, Citizens Advice Harlow will deliver welfare advice and support on housing, benefits, money management, debt advice, and income maximisation.
They will also signpost to other organisations where necessary and work with partners to deliver community services.
The contract will focus on addressing fuel, food, and data poverty, as set out in the council’s health and wellbeing strategy, alongside housing and financial advice and support.
Citizens Advice Harlow has retained the contract to provide advice and support services for local residents, continuing the work it has delivered over the past three years.
The new contract, starting from April 1, 2025, ensures there is no break in provision and that residents can continue to access trusted, high-quality advice from a well-established local organisation that already works closely with the community and public sector.
Harlow residents who need advice and support can visit the Citizens Advice Harlow website for details on how to get in contact and access online help.
