Located on Blossom Street just a short walk from Liverpool Street Station, Xi Home Dumplings Bay is well-known for its huge array of dumplings, including novelty handmade dumplings made for celebrations like Easter, Christmas and Chinese New Year.

The restaurant itself features a vibrant and modern design with tributes to its Chinese roots with wall art hanging from the wall art to neon Chinese lettering on the wall.
I recently went to try some of their dumplings, and they had a whole host to choose from with 18 different options, as well as things like noodles and wonton soup.

We began with some cocktails, from their menu consisting of House Specials that nod to Chinese flavours like Sakura and Lyche with nods to classics like the Old Fashioned and Martini.
For dumplings we opted to try the bestselling Jade Lobster Dumplings and the Spicy Pork Dumplings, both of which were very good, but the pork had to be my favourite with so much flavour.
The Jade Lobster Dumplings were succulent with a mix of both lobster and prawn meat whilst the Pork Dumplings definitely had more of a fiery kick with chilli.

But aside from the dumplings they also had some other gems which we tried, like the Sweet & Sour Pork and the Stir Fried Chicken, which was my favourite out of all the dishes I tried with a really delicious crunchy outer texture.
One thing I will attest to about this place were the portion sizes, they were huge, so this would be a good spot to visit with a group of friends if you fancy sharing a few dishes.
If you fancy trying your hand at making dumplings, Xi Home Dumplings Bay also offer dumpling-making classes, where for £49.46 you’ll learn how to make your own dumplings, with the next class taking place on March 30.
