The south-east London venue will welcome food lovers to enjoy “irresistible eats” and “memorable culinary experiences” across four weekends.

The first event will be the Free From Festival on May 24 and 25, which will celebrate gluten, dairy, and refined sugar-free food and drink.

The festival will feature “pioneering brands” from across the country, as well as expert talks and demos on gut health, wellness, and allergen-aware eating.

Next will be the Fume Festival – Summer Edition from May 30 to June 1, which will celebrate “smoke, spice, and supreme BBQ culture.”

The festival will be strictly for those aged 18 and over and will feature “bold flavours, banging tunes, craft drinks, and big summer energy.”

In July, The Original Jerk Cook Out will bring Jamaican food and culture to Woolwich.

The family-friendly event will take place on July 26 and 27 and will feature jerk BBQ, live music, dance, kids’ activities, and Caribbean street food.

The final event will be the Fume Festival – Autumn Edition from September 26 to 28.

This will feature a line-up of international pitmasters and “even more smoke, technique, and surprises.”

Liat Rosenthal, head of creative programming at Woolwich Works, said: “These festivals celebrate what food is really about – flavour, community, and cultural storytelling.

“In all cultures, recipes tend to be passed down from generation to generation and they are a way of preserving our heritage.

“Whether you’re here for the fire and smoke, allergen-free innovation, or the taste of home, this season at Woolwich Works is about bringing people together through great food in unforgettable ways.”

Tickets and information for all shows are available on the Woolwich Works website.
