The Piccadilly line was part suspended after emergency services were called to Wood Green today (June 9) just before 2.45pm.

Paramedics took a person to hospital with non-life threatening and non-life changing injuries.

The incident is not being treated as suspicion, according to the British Transport Police (BTP)

There was no service between Cockfosters and King’s Cross St Pancras for over an hour today due to the incident.

While service has now returned, there’s still severe delays on the entire line at the time of reporting.

A BTP spokesperson said: “We were called to Wood Green Underground Station shortly before 2.45pm today Monday 9 June following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

“Officers attended along with paramedics and a person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening and non-life changing injuries.

“The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
