The 64-year-old regularly features on the morning programme along with The Mirror’s Kevin Maguire to debate, analyse (and often clash), on the biggest news stories of the day, along with the likes of Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley.
However, Andrew hinted at this exit last week, as during a conversation on the show, co-star Susanna referred to the pair as being there “since the beginning,” to which he responded: “Not for much longer, sadly.”

He posted on X: “Not a suggestion. It’s a fact next week sadly is my last on @gmb but viewers can tune in to see me presenting on @GBNEWS from 9.30am Monday to Thursday.”
But now Andrew has told viewers why he will no longer be appearing on the ITV show after around 10 years.
The broadcaster shared his exit comes as he “can’t do extra spot in extended show from January”.
He wrote on X: “End of an era. Last week on @gmb with @susannareid100 as cant do extra spot in extended show from January. But join me on my @GBNEWS show from 9.30am Monday to Thursday. Onwards, upwards.”
Good Morning Britain presenters over the years
Earlier this year, ITV announced GMB would be extended by 30 minutes to run from 6am to 9.30am daily, as part of a shake-up to its biggest programmes, including Loose Women and Lorraine.
