The blimp first flew over Parliament Square in July 2018 in protest of Trump’s visit to the UK.
The giant orange baby was flown again for the President’s second state visit in June 2019.
This week, starting Tuesday, September 16, Trump will mark his third state visit to the UK, his first since the beginning of his second term as US President.

Many have asked if the Trump baby blimp will return to protest the President’s visit; however, the creators of the balloon have confirmed it will not be flown.
Why the Trump blimp won’t fly above London this week
The blimp was created by Leo Murray and co-designed by artist Matt Bonner.
The balloon was first made to mock Trump; however, Murray has said that today’s political climate is “not really a laughing matter anyone”.
Speaking to The Independent, Murray said: “Back in 2019, Donald Trump was a figure of fun for the British public.
“Most people thought he was an idiot, and we were amazed that the American people had elected this guy to be the president.
“ We no longer own the blimp. We gave the blimp to the Museum of London.
“We just didn’t think we would need it again”.
He added that following the protests, some people involved with the blimp received death threats and were found at their workplaces by far-right activists.
The creator of the blimp shared that they did think about bringing the balloon out of storage for this year, but said that the situation would be worse in today’s climate.

Sharing what idea they had, Murray thought of picking at Trump’s ego: “Liberals crying with placards is just water off a duck’s back to Trump. He really doesn’t care.
“The only thing that ever seems to have any effect on him at all is personal insults.
“And I was like, what? Could we do that?”
