The six remaining couples returned to the dancefloor on Saturday (November 29), marking the tenth week of the 2025 Strictly competition.
This week, it was a tie for the top score, with both Amber Davies and Karen Carney and their respective partners, Nikita Kuzmin and Carlos Gu, scoring a perfect 40.
At the other end of the leaderboard, Alex Kingston and her partner Joahannes Radebe recorded the lowest score of 23.
The 5 most iconic Strictly performances
Meanwhile, in a Strictly first, the remaining couples also had to tackle the brand new Instant Dance challenge.
Overseen by Tess and Claudia, the Instant Dance challenge saw each couple pick a dance style at random from the ones they had already learnt in the competition.
They were then played their accompanying music and, after a frantic costume change, each couple had 10 seconds to decide how they would dance.
After all six Strictly couples had danced, the Strictly judges then ranked them and awarded extra marks accordingly.
Strictly Come Dancing 2025 week 10 scores and leaderboard
Drag artist La Voix was forced to withdraw from the competition last week due to injury, meaning there was no dance-off or elimination, and scores were carried over to this week.
So the scores after weeks 9 and 10, plus the extra points from the Instant Dance challenge, were:
- Lewis and Katya – 40 / 36 + 6 = 82
- Amber and Nikita – 36 / 40 + 4 = 80
- Karen and Carlos – 39 / 40 + 1 = 80
- George and Alexis – 39 / 34 + 2 = 75
- Balvinder and Julian – 33 / 28 + 5 = 66
- Alex and Johannes – 35 / 23 + 3 = 61

This meant that Alex and Johannes became the eighth couple to be eliminated from Strictly 2025.
Following her elimination, Alex said: “I had never in my wildest dreams imagined that I would last this long.
“It’s been just the most incredible journey for me.
“I feel quite proud of myself because I’ve loved the process, I mean 100%, you can tell by my smile. Everyone always says that their dance partner is a friend for life, but JoJo really will be.”

Johannes added: “I’ve never grinned as much as I have in the last few weeks. Thank you Alex for being a trooper, I will hold on to the memories.
“As far as the dancing goes, I think we’ve achieved what we wanted to achieve.
“These memories are just the beginning for us, we can say that we are very much a Strictly family.”
Sunday’s results show also featured a rumba by the professionals to Wicked Game by Grace Carter, choreographed by Oti Mabuse and Marius Lepure.
Singer Myles Smith also performed his song Stay (If You Wanna Dance) which was accompanied by professional dancers Kai Widdrington and Karen Hauer.
