East London as a whole saw a fractional decrease in criminal offences in April compared to March with a drop from 13,619 reports to 13,494 reports last month, according to the figures.
As was the case for each month this year, Newham leads the way with the highest amount of reported crime in April.
Newham registered 3,191 reports last month and although this was still the highest in east London, it was a decrease from 3,383 reports in March.
Similar to the preceding month, the majority of these reports were for theft (1,065) whilst violence against the person (854) and vehicle offences (321) were the next highest contributors.

However, Newham did see a 10.9 per cent drop in drug offences, an 11.3pc drop in public order offences and a 19.5pc decrease in sexual offences.
Tower Hamlets was the east London borough with the second highest crime count last month with 2,962 – two more than in March.
The three primary contributors were the same as the previous month with theft (891), violence against the person (853) and drug offences (220).
Both theft and violence against the person reports decreased whilst drug offences saw a 31.7pc increase.
Other categories that saw large increases in reports were sexual offences, which rose by 32pc and vehicle offences which rose by 28.5pc.
Waltham Forrest registered the next highest crime count with 2,004 which is a decrease of 3.7pc from March.
Theft again topped the list of the most recurring crime with 568 whilst violence against the person (540) and vehicle offences (242) were next.
Drug offences and possession of weapons increased in frequency whereas sexual offences, arson and criminal damage and robbery were all down from the previous month.
Following the trend established in March, Redbridge had the fourth highest crime count in east London with 1,991 which is a rise of 4.4pc.
A total of 663 of these were for violence against the person whilst 514 were for theft and 227 for vehicle offences – all three of these figures were higher than they were in March.
Reports of drug offences and robbery also saw slight increases.
Barking and Dagenham was next in the list with 1,766 – up by 1.6pc from March.
A total of 37.3pc of April’s reported crime in Barking and Dagenham was for violence against the person, trailed by theft with 15.9pc and vehicle offences with 9.7pc.
Cases of robbery, burglary and public order offences all dropped in numbers from March.
Again registering the lowest number of reported crimes in the month was Havering with 1,582 which was lower than the 1,633 reports previously.
Violence against the person was again the top contributor in Havering with 500 reports although this was down by 67 cases from March.
Vehicle offences, drug offences and sexual offences ware also marginally down whilst theft, robbery and possession of weapons each saw more cases in April than in March.
