The NHS is urgung eligible people who are yet to have their flu vaccine to get protected before the 2024/25 flu vaccination programme ends on Monday, March 31.
The autumn/winter 2024/25 flu vaccination programme has been running since September 2024.
Anyone who is eligible for the vaccine and not been vaccinated can still come forward and get theirs.

The flu vaccine is recommended for people at higher risk of getting seriously ill from flu, these include anyone who:
- is aged 65 or over (including those who will be 65 by March 31, 2025)
- has certain long-term health conditions
- is pregnant
- lives in
- a care home
- is the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive a carer’s allowance
- lives with someone who has a weakened immune system
