When is the London Marathon 2025?
The 2025 London Marathon will be taking place on Sunday, April 27.
This year’s marathon will mark the 45th year as it first started on March 29, 1981 and has since become a key event in the sporting calendar.

The marathon organisers share: “The London Marathon first took place in 1981 and has become one of the most popular marathons in the world.

The London Marathon is set to kick off at 9.30am and will last all day across the capital.
Ballots for the marathon have now closed but if you want to take part you can still do so with a charity place or enter the virtual London Marathon.
