Santa with his helpers, Mrs Santa and the cheeky Elves, delight families as they pass through the train handing out presents and chocolate pennies, but watch out for our pantomime misery-guts Mr Scrooge who’s always on the lookout for ways to spoil the fun. Boo, hiss!
Family tickets are super-popular this year, so don’t delay in booking your place to guarantee a thrilling start to Christmas aboard Santa’s special team train departing from North Weald Station.
The experience starts when you join our vintage London bus service at either Epping Underground Station or in Ongar. All children receive a present from Santa – but only if they’re good!
All Aboard, the Party Express is ready for departure!

Our illuminated festive train runs throughout December and into January 2026.
Boasting an incredible light show with on train music DJ’d by Voiceover Man and interactive wristbands for everyone, the train makes a kaleidoscope of different colours and flashing patterns which get you in a festive mood.
The train looks amazing, inside and out!
Suitable for all ages the Party Express departs from Ongar Station, just a short walk to car parks in Ongar village.
Advance booking is essential for both events – for full details and to book your tickets, please visit: eorailway.co.uk
