Amid a summer of huge festival appearances, and an autumn tour of the US, the band have announced they will play the 1,500-capacity Electric Ballroom on July 17.

It’s not the first time they have appeared at the venue, with one fan capturing a previous gig in 2022 when they released their self-titled debut album.

They have just announced the third single from the album will be davina mccall a soft, lovelorn ballad that takes a cheeky premise – Big Brother and Shakira – and coats it in a sense of pure, unadulterated devotion.

davina mccall was a collaborative effort, with Rhian Teasdale writing the lyrics and melody, while Hester Chambers began the song and teased it out with Ellis Durand.

“Ellis and I were on the edge of our seats being like, ‘We’re gonna get this, we’re completing the puzzle’” says Chambers.

Wet Leg performed previous singles CPR and catch these fists on Later with Jools Holland earlier this month and have a huge summer planned playing festivals including Green Man, Boardmasters, Wilderness and TRNSMT followed by a string of dates in the USA and Europe.
