Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called at 11.55pm today (January 2) with reports of an incident at a casino venue on Westow Hill.
The first emergency responders arrived to the scene in less than two minutes from the time of the report.
A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm or imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
He remains in police custody at this time.

A spokesperson for the Met said: “Police were called at 11:55hrs on Thursday, 2 January following reports of an armed robbery at a casino on Westow Hill, Norwood.
“Officers arrived at the scene in under two minutes.
“A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm or imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. He remains in custody.”
