Essex County Fire & Rescue Service have issued an update after a huge fire ripped through the clubhouse at West Essex Golf Club, near Chingford, on Monday (January 5).
Following an investigation yesterday, firefighters have concluded the blaze was started accidently during roofing works.
The entire front part of the two-story building was alight at around 3pm on Monday, with photos taken since showing the roof and much of the second floor destroyed.

No injuries were reported and everyone was accounted for after the first fire crews arrived.
