Police were called to the A406 yesterday (August 27) at around 3.30pm.
The rider was found injured and despite attempts by paramedics, they died at the scene.
It has now been confirmed that the rider was male.
Police have also added that they believe no other vehicle was involved in the crash.
His next of kin have been informed of the death and are being supported by officers.
An appeal has been launched for information related to the crash.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 15.34hrs on Wednesday, 27 August to reports of a road traffic collision on the North Circular A406, near Wembley.
“Officers and the London Ambulance Service arrived and found a motorcyclist injured.
“Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, the motorbike rider sadly died at the scene.
“His next-of-kin have been informed and will be supported by specially trained police family liaison officers.
“At this early stage in the investigation, it is believed no other vehicle was involved.
