Police received a report of an assault on a Southeastern train at Welling railway station at around 9.40am this morning (January 30).
Officers attended and one person was arrested.
Southeastern trains were unable to run towards Dartford on the Bexleyheath line and were diverted via Woolwich and Sidcup.
Passengers were able to use their tickets on London Buses between New Cross, Lewisham and Dartford.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Welling railway station at around 9.40am today (30 January) following reports of an assault on board a train.
“Officers attended and a person has been arrested.”
Southeastern was contacted for comment.
