She added that staff should ideally “not be going on seven days of strike action”.
A spokesperson for Redbridge Council, which oversees education in the borough, said the authority was “pleased” pupils could return to the school.
They said in a statement: “We can confirm that both parties have reached an agreement that should prevent any further industrial action.
“We’re pleased that students can resume their educational experience and studies without further disruption.”
Councillors previously called for an end to the strike to avoid their education “suffering”.
The NEU represents the majority of the school’s teaching and support staff, and around 94 per cent voted in favour of the strike.
