It forms part of an investigation by the British Transport Police (BTP) into an incident on August 14 at Wandsworth Road Railway station.
Between the hours of 4.10pm and 5.40pm, a male trespassed across the tracks.
The result saw significant delays to services, which cost the railway network hundreds of thousands of pounds.
The BTP has now released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection to the incident, who they believe could have information to help the investigation.
PC Thomas Appleton said: “We would like to speak to the man in the image, as he may have information that could help our investigation.
