The Wandsworth Bridge Road Spring Fayre is set to return for its fourth year on May 11.
The event will see the road transformed into a “vibrant and welcoming hub” for the community, with no vehicles allowed.
Last year’s event attracted more than 15,000 visitors, and organisers are expecting even more this year.
The free event will feature live music across two large stages, maypole dancing, and more than 150 market stalls selling everything from handbags to gin.
There will also be a dedicated children’s area with free activities, including yoga, football skills, dance classes, and a rock climbing wall.
Foodies can enjoy offerings from local restaurants, cafés, and artisan food traders.
For cycling enthusiasts, there will be a cycle zone with e-bikes and cargo bikes to try out, as well as free bike repairs.
The event is supported by Hammersmith & Fulham Council, Aspire Estate Agents, L’ Ecole des Petits, and Vericor Capital.
It is part of the ‘Clean Green WBR’ initiative, which was selected as an exemplar project by the Mayor of London’s High Streets for All programme.
The initiative aims to transform Wandsworth Bridge Road from a congested commuter route into a “thriving, people-friendly destination high street”.
Visitors to the fayre will be able to see plans for the upcoming transformation.
A spokesperson for the event said: “The Spring Fayre isn’t just a festival; it’s a vision of what our streets could be—a place where people come first.
