The Metropolitan Police was alerted to the grim discovery in Walton Road shortly after 4.40am on July 23.
The male was later identified as 56-year-old Derrick Jones.

A forensic examination was carried out, revealing Derrick had suffered some injuries but his death has remained unexplained.
Investigators believe that he had been socialising with friends at an address on Warrior Square, E12, the day before his death.
A murder investigation has been launched, with a reward available for information that leads to the identification, any arrest and prosecution of a suspect/s.
