Why Walthamstow is the best place to live if you are under 35 in London
North east London’s Walthamstow made the list and was described as the best place to live if “you want cutting-edge creativity with villagey vibes.”
Just 15 minutes from King’s Cross, Walthamstow has Soho Theatre with the Sunday Times labelling it as a “sparkling addition to a scene that also includes the Instagrammable neon art at God’s Own Junkyard.”
The area is filled with creative people and is best known for once being the home to designer William Morris.
Now, Walthamstow is the home of creatives, including Grayson Perry and neon innovator Chris Bracey.
Bracey is the creator of the viral God’s Own Junkyard, a place covered in bright neon signs that have taken over the ‘must-visit’ spots of London tourist guides.
