Police were called on September 4 (Thursday) to the scene of a crash involving a pedestrian, a man in his 80s, and a vehicle to a car park in Wallington.
Paramedics attended the scene and treated the man, who was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition.
The man later died from his injuries.
In a statement, the Metropolitan Police Service confirmed that enquiries are still underway.
There have been no arrests at this stage.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 10am on Thursday, September 4 to reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle in a car park in Shotfield, Wallington.
“An 80-year-old man was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition. Later that evening he sadly died.
“No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.”
