Vue Harrow is bringing beloved holiday favourites back to the big screen throughout December and the festive season, with a line-up designed for all ages and tastes.
The programme began with The Muppet Christmas Carol, featuring Michael Caine as Ebenezer Scrooge alongside the misadventures of Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, and the Marley brothers.
James Kinsella, general manager at Vue Harrow, said: “Nothing captures the spirit of Christmas quite like cosying up in front of your favourite festive film in the run-up to Christmas Day.
“This year we’ve a fantastic line-up at Vue, with something for everyone to enjoy.”
A variety of family classics are on offer, including Home Alone and its sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
The first film sees young Kevin McCallister left behind during the holidays and forced to defend his home from a pair of bumbling burglars, while the sequel transports him to New York City with the same trouble not far behind.
To mark its 25th anniversary, How the Grinch Stole Christmas also returns to cinemas, telling the story of the Grinch’s plan to ruin the holidays and the Whos’ efforts to change his heart.
Vue’s Mighty Mornings screenings, designed for children aged four to 11, are running during the Christmas break.
Tickets start from just £2.49 when booked online and include The Magic Reindeer in the first week and The King of Kings in the second.
For pre-schoolers, Vue’s Big Shorts offers a gentler introduction to cinema with Paw Patrol Christmas and CBeebies Panto 2025: Cinderella, featuring brighter lighting and a relaxed setting.
Music and ballet fans can also enjoy André Rieu’s 2025 Christmas Concert: Merry Christmas and the Royal Ballet & Opera’s production of The Nutcracker on the big screen.
The line-up isn’t just for children.
Festive favourites for older audiences, including Love Actually, The Holiday, and Die Hard, are also part of the programme.
