Havering Council is considering an application to change the use of units 1-6 in Midland House and 109 Victoria Road.
Currently, the units are operating under a Class E approval, which relates to the commercial, business and service use and access is had from Victoria Road between some of the properties.
Documents accompanying the application state that that if approved, the use of the units would be converted to C3, as residential housing.
The units would be split into ten flats, ranging from one to two bedroom homes, with the redevelopment estimated to take six months from June to December if approved.

Alongside the several properties on the site, there is a large undeveloped area that has been tarmacked and is used to accommodate parking for 26 cars.
This number of parking bays would increase by four if the plans get the go ahead.
The proposal has been put forward by a Mr M Sullivan and a decision is expected to be made by May 9.
