The incident happened at around 6.30pm on Wednesday, July 30, when a Victoria line train was being held on the northbound platform due to an incident on the line.
A man is reported to have repeatedly kicked a door, smashing the glass and causing more than £1,000 worth of damage.
He then climbed out of the carriage and became verbally abusive to staff before leaving the station.
British Transport Police believe the man pictured may have information which could help their investigation.
