British Transport Police was called to Green Park Underground station at 3.50pm today (November 25) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Paramedics also attended and a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
Emergency responders at the scene included an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer, and the Hazardous Area Response Team from London Ambulance Service.
A trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance was also dispatched.
The Victoria Line is currently experiencing severe delays across the entire line.
Tickets are being accepted on London Bus, the Weaver Line, Suffragette Line, Great Northern, Thameslink, Greater Anglia, South Western Railway, and Southeastern services.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 3.50pm today (25 November) to reports of a person hit by a train at Green Park Underground Station, W1J.
“We sent an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and our Hazardous Area Response Team to the scene.
“We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance.
“Sadly, a person died at the scene.”
