An incident forced some train lines between Waterloo and Clapham junction to be closed around 5pm today (October 13).

Trains are not stopping at Vauxhall station, with South Western Railway confirming that passengers had been evacuated.
Vauxhall station has since reopened.

An air ambulance has been pictured in nearby Vauxhall Please Gardens as the station is surrounded by police, ambulance and fire service vehicles
The nature of the incident is not yet known.
Hours of delays expected at major London station due to emergency incident
South Western Railway trains are expected by National Rail to be disrupted until 9pm with alternative routes being suggested.
One post on X reads: “Something happened in Vauxhall Station London this afternoon.
“All emergency services are here. Traffic is stuck for the busses trying to turn.”
