Part of Upper Wickham Lane, near to Hafer Road and Lindore Road, was blocked after the crash at 5.33am today (July 11).
Medics were called to the scene and treated a man before taking him to hospital.
The car had been left upside down, with police tape covering it.
Smashed glass from the vehicle was scattered across the floor.
There was heavy traffic this morning due as recovery work took place.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said:
“We were called at 5.33am this morning (July 11) to reports of a road traffic collision in Upper Wickham Lane, Welling.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene.
“We treated a patient at the scene and took him to hospital.”
