Motorists are being warned of multiple temporary traffic orders in place which will affect the streets of Romford, Upminster and Hornchurch this month.
This includes two busy roads, along with smaller works which will take up to two weeks.
Here is what you need to know:
Wingletye Lane, Hornchurch
This road is set to be closed between its junctions of Parkstone Avenue and Sylvan Avenue between 7.30pm to 6am on January 6 to January 7, due to carriageway resurfacing.
Further sections will be shut from Copthorne Gardens at its junction with Wingletye Lane.
Other Wingletyle Lane junctions set to be shut include Romney Chase, Green Glades and Braemar Gardens.
Parking will also be suspended between Parkstone Avenue and Sylvan Avenue.
Hall Lane, Upminster
Hall Lane will also be closed between 7.30pm to 6am on January 8 to January 11 due to carriageway resurfacing.
This will take place between its junctions of Avon Road and Kings Green.
Other junctions with Hall Lane will also be shut, including at River Drive, Masefield Drive, Spenser Crescent and The Fairway.
Parking will also be suspended at Hall Lane between its junctions of Avon Road and Kings Green.
Geoffrey Avenue, Romford
This road is set to be closed at its junction with Colchester Road between house numbers 1A and 2A Geoffrey Avenue for an electric cable installation.
This is set to last between 8am and 6pm on January 6 to January 20.
Coniston Avenue, Upminster
Crane work will be taking place on Coniston Avenue, closing the road outside number 44 on January 6 between 9.30am to 3pm.
