The London Fire Brigade was called to reports of a crash at the junction of Asylum Road and Queens Road in Peckham just before 2.30pm on Saturday (November 22).
Firefighters discovered that one vehicle had crashed into a tree.
Two people were rescued from the vehicle and treated by the London Ambulance Service.
The Brigade sent two fire engines and two Fire Rescue Units from New Cross, Greenwich, Bethnal Green and Lewisham.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade said: Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision at the junction of Asylum Road and Queens Road in Peckham.
“One vehicle was in collision with a tree.
“Two people were rescued from the vehicle and treated by the London Ambulance Service.
“The Brigade was called at 1426 (22/11) and two fire engines and two Fire Rescue Units from New Cross, Greenwich, Bethnal Green and Lewisham attended the scene.”
