The emergency services were called to the junction of Totteridge Lane and High Road at 9.45am today (March 31).
Paramedics treated two people while a police cordon was erected around the scene, with the road closed completely.
One person was taken to hospital “as a priority” while another was treated and then let go at the scene.
Their condition is not known at this time. The junction was closed for hours by a police cordon following the crash, but has now reopened.
Pictures from the scene show two badly damaged silver cars, which had to be carried away from the scene.
Metropolitan Police has been contacted for further details on possible criminal proceedings after the incident, but has not yet responded.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 9.45am today (31 March) to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Totteridge Lane and High Road, Whetstone.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene.
“We treated two people. We took one patient to hospital as a priority and discharged the other patient at the scene.”
