Ian Mullin, from Tonbridge, Kent, secured the win through BOTB’s online Spot the Ball Dream Car Competition.
His prize, a VW California Ocean, came as an early Christmas and birthday gift.
Mr Mullin, a flautist, was having a quiet morning at home when he was greeted with the surprise by BOTB host, Christian Williams.
The camper van, parked round the corner, left the musician stunned.
Mr Mullin said: “You’re joking. That is amazing. It’s really going to change our lives and that’s our holidays sorted for the next few years.”
Despite the win, he revealed he still remained in shock the day after.
He continued: “It still hasn’t sunk in, but the whole thing has been amazing and very exciting. It’s a lovely surprise to have before Christmas.
“Me and my partner have wanted one for ages. We love the outdoors, including paddle boarding, which is why we entered the competition.
“I used to have a neighbour who had come into some money and bought one of the older models, and I was a bit envious seeing that parked up every day.
“We would also love to go to Southern Ireland as it’s beautiful around there.”
The VW California Ocean is regarded as one of the most luxurious camper vans on the market, featuring a full kitchen, electric pop-up roof, an integrated awning, and premium comfort throughout.
Christian Williams from BOTB said: “Ian and his partner have dreamed of owning a camper van for years, and now that dream has finally come true.
“The California Ocean is the perfect adventure vehicle. It’s got everything you need to go off-grid for as long as you like.”
BOTB, established in 1999, offers the chance to win dream vehicles and lifestyle prizes each week.
Founded in 1999, BOTB has given away prizes to over 516,000 people, including £127m-worth of cars so far.
Currently, it is offering the chance to win a four-bedroom townhouse in Bath, valued at £1.15 million, for just £1.
