Given that gyms are part of the beating heart of our community (they certainly get ours racing), we feel it’s only fair to give the local fitness centres the thanks and recognition they deserve.
But we can’t do that, without your help. We’re asking you our beloved readers to nominate your favourite workout place to enter our competition.
The gym with the most votes will be presented with an engraved trophy, a professionally printed vinyl banner, and a certificate, plus a feature in the local newspaper.

The top five places with the most nominations will go through to the final stage. At this point, voting will open in the paper only, in the week commencing 27/01/2025.

If at the close of the nominating stage, there are less than five in the category or a tie the decision may be taken to release all nominated sites into the final voting stage.
