Surrounded by a cluster of bars and pubs, it’s an ideal starting point for a Saturday night – or somewhere you might end up staying all evening.
I visited on Saturday night with my best friend for some much-needed catch-up time over food and cocktails.
We were welcomed into a bright, airy space, full of relaxed chatter and warm lighting.

The décor is clean and contemporary, with minimalist artwork and an open layout that feels social without being noisy.
We started with a round of small plates – green olives, steamed vegetable dumplings, and beer-battered cod with pea purée and homemade tartare sauce.

The cod was a standout: the batter crisped to perfection, while the fish inside was tender and melt-in-the-mouth.
A special shoutout goes to the veggie dumplings too – delicate, flavourful, and made even better dipped in soy sauce.
Next up was another selection: chicken popcorn with tomato and chilli dip, ham-hock and chorizo bites with hot sauce, and the chef’s falafel with garlic yoghurt.

All small plates are priced at £7, or three for £18 – great value for the quality and generous portions.
The bites were perfect for grazing and sharing, and everything arrived quickly with friendly service.

Of course, no Saturday is complete without a cocktail or two.
The Table offers happy hour from 5pm to 7pm with 50 per cent off all cocktails — a real win.

I kicked things off with the Elder Mimosa (elderflower cordial and prosecco) which was fruity, light, and dangerously easy to drink — I ended up having two.

Then I tried the Parfum Fizz, a refreshing blend of gin, thyme liqueur, rose, lime, and soda – the perfect drink for a warm evening.
My friend, a coffee lover, stuck with the espresso martini all night and was seriously impressed.

What really stood out was the attentive and warm service throughout.
The team were helpful without hovering, creating a welcoming atmosphere that matched the menu’s modern, easy-going vibe.

Whether you’re local or just in the area, The Table is well worth a visit – delicious small plates, great cocktails, and a spot-on location for a Saturday night out in south west London.
