The Sushi Co has opened in Rosslyn Hill, Hampstead, following a £375,000 investment to offer customers an “extra special” dining experience.
The expanding chain, which has 20 outlets across London with more planned, aims to provide diners with an authentic experience outside of Japan.
Customers can sit in a tatami room, outfitted with traditional Japanese tatami mats, and relax in a zen garden in the heart of Hampstead.
The company says it has created 25 jobs with the opening of the new restaurant.

A spokesperson for the company said: “We knew when we were planning our Hampstead restaurant that it had to be something special.
“We’ve taken all the ingredients that we know work in our other venues and added something very special to take our Hampstead offer to the next level.
“This really does offer our most authentic dining experience so that customers can really enjoy our amazing food.”
The company serves up box-fresh made-to-order sushi in its open kitchens.
