A popular Sutton music venue has launched a crowdfunder after its exterior was vandalised this weekend.
The Sound Lounge – a grassroots music venue in Sutton – launched a crowdfunder in a bid to raise £10,000 after its windows were vandalised in the early hours of this morning (September 6).
Since launching the crowdfunder earlier today, the business has received an outpouring of support from donators, raising over double its target, with £24k in the last four hours.
The business said in a post on its crowdfunder that the funds would go directly into replacing the five panels which have since become “unsafe” following the incident.
We contacted The Sound Lounge who were unavailable for comment at this time.
However, the business confirmed that it would remain closed until further notice.
