Parents had until January 15 to apply for primary school places for the 2026–27 academic year, starting this September.
In September 2025, some Sutton primary schools were oversubscribed, with more first-choice applications than places, while others still have space available.
Below, we have listed Sutton primary schools, along with the number of places they offered and how many times they were chosen as the first preference by parents last year.
The final column shows whether each school was over- or undersubscribed.
A negative number means the school received more first-preference applications than it had places available, making it oversubscribed.
A zero indicates that demand matched the number of places exactly, while a positive number means the school had more places available than first-preference applications, leaving spare capacity.
The figures indicate demand for each school but do not reflect how places were ultimately allocated, as offers are also influenced by admissions criteria such as distance, siblings, and faith requirements.
