Sutton’s housing market presents a wide spectrum, with property prices ranging from £130,000 on the most ‘affordable’ streets to almost £2 million in the most expensive areas.
According to data from HM Land Registry and Property Solvers, the average house price in Sutton is £367,780.
In the last 12 months, property values have risen by £3,745, an increase of 0.82 per cent.
Over the past five years, the data says the average price has gone up by 4.23 per cent to £18,738.
In the past year, there were 517 residential property sales, marking a decline of 186, a 35.98 per cent drop compared to the previous year.
The majority of these sales, 125 in total, were for properties priced between £230,000 and £328,000.
Meanwhile, 105 homes sold in the £328,000 to £426,000 range.
