The Morgan, in Belvedere, is one of the Marston’s pubs in London taking part in the nationwide Trivial Pursuit competition, which will see customers putting their general knowledge to the test.
The competition is being held in more than 1,000 Marston’s pubs across the UK, with other participating locations in London including The Fire Station in Waterloo and The Porter and Sorter in Croydon.
Marston’s has partnered with Hasbro’s Trivial Pursuit to launch the ‘Win a Wedge’ promotion, which sees customers answering trivia questions when they visit a pub.
These questions will be available on Marston’s new Order & Pay platform, which customers can use to order food and drink.
If customers answer all six questions correctly, they win an instant prize, which could be drinks, food, or cinema tickets.
All customers who participate, regardless of whether they get all the questions correct, will be entered into a weekly prize draw for a chance to win major prizes including £10,000 cash, a holiday, concert tickets, a TV, and Trivial Pursuit board games.
The prize draws will take place once a week for seven weeks, giving customers multiple chances to win.
Mags Dixon, commercial marketing director of Marston’s, said: “TRIVIAL PURSUIT is one of the nation’s all-time favourite board games and we’re so excited to be teaming up with them this summer.
“Using our market-leading Order & Pay system, guests can not only order food and drink from the comfort of their table, but now also access special offers and this exclusive gaming experience to make their visits to our pubs even more rewarding.
“There are some amazing prizes up for grabs and we’re looking forward to seeing our customers enjoying themselves and putting their general knowledge to the test.”
The competition started on June 16 and will run until August 3.
