According to an FoI request by luggage storage network Bounce.com to the British Transport Police, just under 14,000 pickpocketing offences were recorded in train stations under its jurisdiction in 2024.
King’s Cross St Pancras underground station topped the list, with 506 recorded incidents in 2024.
Oxford Circus underground station followed closely with 467 offences, and Finsbury Park railway station was third with 433 incidents.
Euston railway station and Tottenham Court Road underground station also featured on the list with 424 and 347 respectively.
Liverpool Street Station, Leicester Square Underground Station, London Bridge Railway Station, and Victoria Railway Station completed the rest of the top ten.
