The festive attraction at the Liberty delighted families while supporting the charity, based in Havering-atte-Bower, which supports people with life-limiting illnesses.
It was part of the centre’s 2024 Christmas Charity Campaign, which began with a grand parade and welcomed Santa.
The Elf Village, which ran from November 16 to December 24, attracted more than 3,400 children and their families.
Each ticket sold contributed to the hospice, and there were sessions for children with special educational needs and disabilities.
A spokesperson for Saint Francis Hospice said: “We were overjoyed when we found out we were chosen as The Liberty’s Christmas Charity for 2024.
“The grotto was so magical and so well planned it was a pleasure to be in partnership with them.
“The support The Liberty has given Saint Francis Hospice has been incredible and we are so grateful to them.”
Adrian Racaru, marketing manager at The Liberty, added: “We couldn’t be more thrilled with the success of this year’s Elf Village Grotto.
“This campaign is a testament to the generosity of our community and the spirit of Christmas.”
