The Liberty has more than 90 shops in its portfolio, ranging from big brand names such as Flannels, Primark and Next to independent shops like Jennie Jane.
There are also new additions set to be welcomed, including toy and stationery store Miniso which will open on June 13, and jewellery store Lovisa later this year.

However, the Stewards Walk wing of the shopping centre was looking noticeably quieter on our most recent visit, with four vacant units.
One of the empty retail spaces belonged to TRNDS, a footwear and clothing shop offering “exclusive” products.
The former TRNDS retail space is available to let (Image: Newsquest) The unit is now available to let by estate agents Andrew Caplin Commercial. It is unclear when TRNDS closed down its business in The Liberty.
Gifts and home accessories store Heaven at Home is permanently closed according to Google.

Along the theme of gifting, the Romford Gift Centre was the third empty unit we spotted in the shopping centre.
Brown paper sheets have been taped to the windows, blocking the view of the shop floor behind it.

The former TSB premises are also available to let. The only thing pointing to the bank branch’s former address there is a sign on the door reading: “We’re closed, but we’re still here to help”.
It is understood that TSB closed in Romford on May 31, 2022.

Tom Stobbart, centre manager at The Liberty Romford, said: “As with any shopping destination, there is always a natural turnover of occupiers as leases come to an end and new opportunities arise.
“We are continually in active discussions with a range of new operators and remain focused on curating a strong brand mix that meets the needs of our visitors now and into the future.
“A number of units on Stewards Walk are currently under offer, and we look forward to welcoming great local businesses to The Liberty Romford.”
