Many walked away with prizes for taking part in a game organised by the centre for the chance to win gift cards for anyone spending £40 or more over five days.
Sian Cox was the lucky customer whose name was picked out of a hat for a £500 shopping spree.
Participants had to choose one of three cards. Those matching ‘love’ won instant prizes, while ‘pass’ matches received a sweet.
But those who got cards that matched ‘marry’ were then entered a prize draw for the £500 spree.
“This gave something back to our shoppers,” The Liberty’s marketing manager Adrian Racaru said.
“Seeing 150 winners walk away with prizes and knowing we made someone’s Valentine’s Day extra special with a shopping spree was rewarding.”
