Nestled within lush gardens and rolling countryside, this luxurious destination is known for its exceptional dining experiences, and during my recent visit, had the pleasure of indulging in a buffet dinner at The Glasshouse.
It was nothing short of spectacular, offering a unique and immersive culinary adventure that exceeded expectations.

From the moment I stepped into The Glasshouse, I was captivated by its contemporary yet warm ambiance.
The open-plan layout, complemented by floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the beautifully landscaped gardens, created an inviting atmosphere.
The restaurant was lively yet relaxed, filled with the enticing aromas of fresh ingredients and live cooking stations preparing a global array of cuisines.
The concept of The Glasshouse is a theatrical spin on traditional hotel buffets, with chefs preparing dishes to order right before your eyes.
One of the highlights of my evening was the sushi bar. As a sushi enthusiast, I was thrilled to see an array of freshly prepared sashimi, and maki rolls. The quality of the fish was impeccable, and each bite of salmon, tuna, and yellowtail melted in my mouth, bursting with fresh, clean flavours.

The sushi chefs worked diligently, crafting beautiful and delicate pieces with precision.
The sashimi selection was equally impressive, with buttery slices of fish that showcased the chef’s expertise and commitment to quality – especially considering it was cut on request.
Next, I moved on to the fresh pasta station, where I watched as a skilled chef prepared my dish to order.
The sight of the pasta being freshly tossed in a rich, velvety sauce was enough to whet my appetite. I opted for a classic combination of tagliatelle with a tomato sauce, and it was divine.
The ability to customize the dish to my preference, from the type of pasta to the sauce, made the experience even more enjoyable.
The variety of other dishes on offer was equally impressive.
From succulent meats grilled to perfection at the robata station to fragrant curries and tandoori delights, The Glasshouse truly celebrates global cuisine.

The waiters were attentive without being intrusive, always ensuring my glass was full and my needs were met with a warm smile. They took the time to recommend dishes and ensure that each guest had a personalized experience, which added a special touch to the evening.
To round off the meal, I couldn’t resist the dessert bar, which was a feast for both the eyes and the palate.

The selection was nothing short of breathtaking with decadent cakes, delicate pastries, handcrafted chocolates, and an indulgent chocolate fountain.
I sampled the tiramisu, which was delightfully light yet rich, and a beautifully presented raspberry tart that had the perfect balance of sweetness and tartness. The chocolate mousse was another standout, with its silky texture and deep cocoa flavour.
For those who prefer something lighter, there was a fresh fruit selection and a variety of sorbets that provided a refreshing finish to the meal.
The restaurant truly embodies the spirit of The Grove – an oasis where guests can unwind, indulge, and savour every moment.
Whether you are a food lover seeking culinary excellence or simply looking for a luxurious dining experience, The Glasshouse at The Grove is a destination that should not be missed. It is more than just a buffet; it is a celebration of flavours, craftsmanship, and hospitality at its finest.
I left the restaurant feeling thoroughly satisfied and already looking forward to my next visit.
If you’re in search of an extraordinary dining experience, The Glasshouse is undoubtedly the place to be. It made for the perfect date night.
