The five-metre by six-metre display at The Exchange spans two floors, enhancing the community hub’s facade.
It is part of a spring makeover for the venue and is visible from Twickenham railway station.
The artwork reflects the diverse range of events hosted at The Exchange, including comedy, music, film, theatre, talks, and family entertainment.

It also pays tribute to performers who have graced the venue’s stage.
Becky Shaw, The Exchange’s programme and partnerships manager, said: “We’re beyond thrilled with our new window art.
“Not only is it bold and uplifting, but it gives us stand out and increases The Exchange’s visibility in this busy part of Twickenham.
“It’s a strong representation of the range of events at our venue which we hope will resonate with the community.
“It’s a wonderful addition to Twickenham’s vibrant and diverse streetscape and we encourage everyone to stop to take a look when passing.”
The Exchange, a charitable organisation owned by Richmond Council, is leased to St Mary’s University for community and university events.
Since its opening in 2017, the venue has become a central entertainment hub in the Richmond borough, attracting top performers across various genres.
After a brief pause during the COVID-19 pandemic, The Exchange resumed operations, continuing to provide a platform for community groups and a space for cultural learning.
The venue boasts a 285-seat theatre, five multi-purpose studio rooms, and a large conservatory.
It offers a year-round programme of events in film, music, theatre, spoken word, comedy, and education classes.
May will see the launch of The Exchange’s summer programme, featuring a host of events across various genres.
The season will kick off with performances from soul singer Leee John of IMAGINATION, jazz vocalist Clare Teal, and comedian Simon Evans.
In addition, Geoff Thompson’s play DOORMAN is set for a two-night run at the venue.
The summer programme will continue with performances from Carnaby Army, the Marquee Club All Stars, and multiple film and family shows.
The Exchange is also one of the chosen venues for the Richmond-upon-Thames Arts & Ideas Festival, which will include an immersive art installation and various other events.
The festival, with a theme of cultural reforestation, will explore our connection with nature through dance, music, exhibitions, and theatre events.
For those interested in attending, full details of the summer programme are available on The Exchange’s website.
The Exchange continues to be a welcoming cultural space for people of all ages in the London borough of Richmond-upon-Thames and beyond.
