The Essex Arms on Warley Hill begun the process of its refurbishment in August, and has been sharing regular updates with customers across its social media pages.
They are set to be welcomed back to the pub this week to see for themselves the refreshed pub.
Changes to the watering hole include a new bar, sofas and lighting alongside its courtyard garden.

Behind the scenes footage shared on the pub’s social media pages has revealed the less glamorous process of prepping the space for the reopening, which has been referred to as “an absolute rollercoaster of a refurb”.
Dust covered floors, piles of decorating kit, and burst pipes are just some of the trials said to have come with the undertaking.
A grand opening event has been scheduled for September 19, toasted with a free welcome drink.
